MANSFIELD MUSICWORX

Blake Peterson is a past Mansfield State High School student who is currently studying at the University of Queensland, completing his Bachelor of Music (piano). Blake discovered his love for music at the age of 5 during his very first piano lesson which has now led him to achieve his Associate of Music Diploma (AMus) and Grade 5 in theory through AMEB. 

Throughout his time at Mansfield, he explored different genres of music within the variety of ensembles which Mansfield offers such as classical, romantic, contemporary and jazz. In his final year he played piano for Big Band, Trumpet in Concert Band and Orchestra, Guitar in Jazz Combo along with singing in Chorale. Blake recently joined the critically acclaimed choir 'The Australian Voices', where he frequently performs and tours nationally and internationally. Blake is eager to pass on his extensive knowledge of music to students.
