With an extensive background in music spanning over more than twenty years, and an ever-growing creative skill set, Harriet Nicholson completed her Bachelor of Music at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University in 2018. She is now completing her Masters of Secondary Education at Griffith University. 


At age 15, Harriet was already working as a session violinist, including solo violinist for the award-winning Strings of Thunder album and national concert tour.  She is regularly invited as a guest performer at many private, corporate and community events, featuring on violin,viola, piano and solo vocals.


Throughout her growing career, Harriet has performed with many musical ensembles in a variety of settings, including the Queensland Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra, and theQueensland Conservatorium Pit Orchestra. 
 

Her passion for music and quest for excellence is evident in her high marks across all pedagogical, theory and aural exams, as well as her soulful approach to instrumental performances, and directing various choirs and ensembles.


Graduating from the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University in the Instrumental Education program has allowed Harriet to harness numerous skills in viola, violin, classical voice, and piano. She is now extending her knowledge within her Masters degree.


In her not-so-free time, Harriet can often be found tearing up the netball court in the Netball Queensland Sapphire Series competition. With a passion for music and teaching, her aim is to give more people the opportunity to learn and experience the joy of music. 


Harriet's illustrious and passionate journey has only just begun!
